Dr. Adhari has contributed comprehensive chapters to seminal publications, including the first book on AI in cancer care and another on the patient-doctor relationship in the Gulf region in the era of AI. She played a pivotal role in revising colorectal cancer management guidelines for the MENA region.

Her research team received the Best Poster Award at the European Society of Medical Oncology conference in Singapore 2021. Additionally, she was awarded the Best Presentation Award at the several national and international conferences in 2021,2022, 2023.

Dr. Muna AlMulla is a Clinical Lecturer in Radiologic Sciences at Kuwait University, holding a PhD in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) from University College Dublin, Ireland. With over a decade of experience in MRI and diagnostic imaging, she specializes in musculoskeletal imaging and quality assurance. Her research is widely published in international journals, and she has presented her work at major conferences, including the European Congress of Radiology. Dr. AlMulla is dedicated to advancing radiographic standards in Kuwait through her roles in teaching, research, and professional development workshops. She is an active member of leading radiology societies and is committed to enhancing best practices while supporting the next generation of radiographers.

Dr. Manohar Shroff is a Professor in the Medical Imaging Department of the University of Toronto, holds the Ontasian Chair in Pediatric Radiology, and is a pediatric neuroradiologist at SickKids and the University of Toronto.

He was previously the Fellowship Program Director and the Neuroradiology Program Director for Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto and a Founder Member of the Neuroradiology subspecialty at the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Canada. Until 2023, he was the Radiologist-in-Chief at the Hospital for Sick Children.

Dr. Shroff is well recognized for his teaching contributions, locally, nationally and globally. Dr. Shroff has approximately 200 publications in peer-reviewed journals to his credit and is a co-investigator and collaborator in multiple research studies.

In recognition of his exceptional academic contributions, the Department of Medical Imaging at the U of T awarded him the “Lifetime Achievement” Award for 2021-2022T.

Dr. Alaa Abdelgalil is a distinguished consultant radiologist, renowned for his contributions to both the medical field and the academic community. With over two decades of experience, Dr. Abdelgalil has become a leading figure in radiology, specialising in diagnostic Head & Neck imaging and interventional procedures.

Dr. Abdelgalil’s fascination with the intricate details of the human anatomy led him to specialise in the complex subspecialty of Head & Neck imaging and currently, he is the Head & Neck imaging lead in Raigmore Hospital, NHS Highland. He has developed his own unique lecturing style and uses his own home-grown graphics and animations to grab the attention of his audience.

Dr. Abdelgalil’s professional journey is marked by numerous achievements. He has authored and co-authored many peer-reviewed articles and has been an invited speaker at international conferences.

Beyond his clinical accomplishments, Dr. Abdelgalil is deeply passionate about teaching. He believes that the dissemination of knowledge is crucial to the advancement of medicine. Dr. Majid Khan is Neuroradiologist and Interventional Radiologist with a certificate of added qualification (CAQ) in Neuroradiology and is Director, Non-Vascular Spine Intervention at Johns Hopkins University hospitals. Dr. Khan graduated from University of Kashmir, India and then completed his residency in Radiology at the Nassau University Medical Center at Stony Brooks University, NY followed by fellowship in Neuroradiology and Intervention at Johns Hopkins University.

He is Associate professor of Radiology, Otolaryngology and Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Majid is deeply invested in both diagnostic Neuroradiology with particular emphasis on advanced Head & Neck and Spine Tumor Imaging and is integral member of both Otolaryngology and Spine multi-disciplinary conferences for optimal patient care. He also is deeply invested in performing advanced neck and spine tumor ablations and has both national and international reputation for such procedures.

Dr. Majid has contributed to numerous publications (more than 100) and book chapters and has given regional, national and international talks, as well as presented research at many national meetings. He is a member of the American Society of Neuroradiology, American College of Radiology, American Society of Spine Radiology, North American Spine Society, Radiologic Society of North America, European Society of Radiology.

Dr. Suresh K. Mukherji, MD, MBA, FACR received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and M. D. degree from Georgetown University. After finishing his Radiology residency at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, he completed a 2-year Neuroradiology Fellow, with emphasis on head and neck imaging, at the University of Florida. His past academic positions include being Director of Head & Neck Radiology at University of North Carolina, Division Director of Neuroradiology at University of Michigan and Chair of Radiology at Michigan State University. He is currently Professor of Radiology at the University of Illinois & University of Louisville, Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Rutgers University, Otolaryngology Head Neck Surgery faculty at Michigan State University and faculty in the Department of Oromaxillofacial Radiology at Texas A&M School of Dentistry.

Dr. Mukherji is Past President of the American Society of Head & Neck Radiology and has served on the numerous leadership positions in Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society and American Society of Neuroradiology. He has been the Principal Investigator and co-investigator on numerous NIH and society grants and has authored over 500 scientific manuscripts, chapters and editorials. He has written or edited 15 textbooks and is the Consulting Editor for both Neuroimaging Clinics and Magnetic Resonance Clinics of North America and Editorial Board of the Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography. Dr. Mukherji is a devoted educator and has been an invited speaker on over 600 occasions on six continents. He was recently honored by being bestowed honorary memberships to the Indian Society of Head & Neck Radiology and Hungarian Society of Neuroradiology. He is an International Advisory Board Member for the Santiniketan Medical College and Hospital in West Bengal, India and is an Adjunct Professor of Radiology at the Universitas Airlangga in Surabaya, Indonesia.

Dr. Ahmad Bushehri serves as the Head of Unit C in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Kuwait Cancer Control Center. Dr. Bushehri focuses on the treatment and management of head and neck cancers as well as thyroid cancers in addition to other cancer sites. He completed his medical degree at University College Cork, Ireland, followed by residency and fellowship training in radiation oncology at the University of Toronto. In addition, Dr. Bushehri holds a Master’s degree in Health Professions Education from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentristy, University of Western Ontario.

Dr. Wiggins is the Associate Dean of CME of the University of Utah School of Medicine, and Professor of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. He is an Adjunct Professor in the Departments of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and BioMedical Informatics. He received his BA in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, and his MD degree from the University of Texas at Houston Health Sciences Center. After a surgical internship, and a research fellowship in Head and Neck Imaging at the University of Florida, he completed his Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Mississippi, and a Neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Utah. Dr. Wiggins has more than 60 peer-reviewed scientific papers, 11 books, over 100 book chapters, and presented more than 600 national and international lectures on Neuroradiology, Informatics, and Teaching and Education. He served as the program chair of the Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) from 2014 - 2020. He is past president of the Western Neuroradiological Society (WNRS), and the American Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ASHNR). He has served on multiple executive committees and program committees, and served as the program chair for multiple national and international conferences in both neuroradiology and imaging informatics. He was elected as the inaugural fellow of the Academy of Health Science Educators for the University of Utah Health Sciences Center, and is the recipient of the Distinguished Teaching Award from the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Utah as well as the Honored Educator Award from the Radiological Society of North America, as well as several other teaching awards. He was also named the 25th Fellow of the Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine, and named a fellow of the American College of Radiology. He has been chosen as an international outreach speaker and educator by the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR), and the American Society of Head & Neck Radiology (ASHNR). Dr. Wiggins is CAQ certified in Neuroradiology by the American Board of Radiology and also certified by the American Board of Imaging Informatics.

D. Yosra is a consultant radiologist at Al Sabah Hospital, Kuwait with title affiliation as a professor of Radiology at Ain Shams University, Egypt.

She has about 20 years of experience in the field of Radio-diagnosis with special interest in neuroradiology. She had her visiting scholarship in the neuroradiology department of University of Rochester Medical Center, NY, USA in 2012. Having an academic position, she has special teaching and research interests. She has multiple internationally published scientific papers and she actively participated in multiple national and international conferences.

Prof. Laurie A. Loevner graduated Brandeis University Magna Cum Laude (Biology), followed by the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She did her internship in Internal Medicine at Penn, her radiology residency at the University of Michigan, and her two-year fellowship in Neuroradiology back at the University of Pennsylvania where she subsequently joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Loevner’s academic career has been devoted to the development and utilization of novel MR technological approaches and data processing tools to investigate a wide spectrum of neurologic and oncologic diseases including the study of pathophysiology, genetics, micro-environments of tumors, assessing disease progression, and providing prognostic information in oncologic patients. She is a Professor of Radiology (ascending from assistant to full professor in a short 10 years), and has appointments in the departments of Neurosurgery, Head and Neck Surgery, and Ophthalmology at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Loevner is the Chief of the Division of Neuroradiology for the University of Pennsylvania Health System (2013-pr) and oversees their clinical operations, educational programs, and their focused Neuroradiology Research Core which she built. She has served as the Vice Chair of the Head and Neck/Neuro Oncologic Committee at the American College of Radiology Image Network (ACRIN), and she is a Past-President of the American Society of Neuroradiology (2015), the American Society of Head and Neck Radiology (2010), and the Eastern Neuroradiological Society (2002). Dr. Loevner has served on numerous committees of multiple national societies including ISMRM, ACR, and the RSNA where she chaired the education committee, the neuroradiology/head and neck refresher course program, and served as the neuroradiology editor for RadioGraphics for over a decade. Currently she is the Co-Chair for the Foundation of the American Society of Neuroradiology (2015-pr) and has raised over seven million dollars. Dr. Loevner has over two decades of research experience, and she has a body of research work in head and neck cancer with funding from the NIH, national medical societies, as well as industry support. Her body of MRI research in head and neck cancer was recognized by the Canadian Radiologic Society that awarded her the “Prize of Innovation and Excellence of Dr. Jean A. Venzia” (2012). Dr. Loevner has over 170 peer-reviewed publications, dozens of chapters, and six textbooks. She has years of experience with clinical trials - most recently serving as site PI at the University of Pennsylvania for phase 2 and phase 3 trials as well as the global coordinating investigator of the PICTURE Trial for the investigation of a new gadolinium-based MRI contrast agent developed by Guerbet which has recently received FDA and European approval. She takes pride in developing the next generation of radiology clinicians, investigators and leaders. She has been instrumental in the mentoring and development of women radiologists. She has mentored too numerous to count trainees and faculty, including multiple Radiological Society of North America and NIH trainee grant recipients (medical students, residents, fellows and faculty), as well as having served as the primary mentor on multiple individual NIH trainee grants. Dr. Loevner is a highly respected educator, invited to give over 500 invited lectures nationally and internationally, and has received multiple teaching awards. She is a renowned clinician known for her unique patient-doctor relationships (patient facing radiology), and her clinical expertise has been recognized by multiple awards including the IS Ravdin Master Clinician Award (2010) given to one doctor annually throughout the University of Pennsylvania Health system, as well as annual recognition in Best Doctors in America and Top Doctors in Philadelphia magazine since 2002. She is a founding member of the Academy of Master Clinicians at Penn (2013), which she now Co-Chairs. This is the highest clinical award in the health system recognizing 0.25% of physicians for their professionalism, clinical mastery, commitment to patients, and mentoring of trainees.

Dr. Wael Moftah is a Consultant radiologist in Kuwait cancer Control centre. He began his medical journey by earning an MBBCh from Kasr Al Aini Cairo University in 1997. Driven by a passion for radiodiagnosis, he pursued a Master's degree from Ain Shams University, which he completed in 2003. Dr. Moftah further honed his expertise by achieving the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in London in 2013.

His dedication to the field of radiology is reflected in his roles as a clinical and academic tutor for the Kuwait Radiology Board and the Kuwait Nuclear Medicine Board. Dr. Akram’s career in ultrasound spans 20 years and he is one of Australia’s most highly regarded sonographers especially in the field of vascular and musculoskeletal ultrasound.

Dr. Akram initially obtained his Bachelor of radiologic sciences in 1986 from Kuwait university-Faculty of Allied Health Sciences and then obtained his Master degree in Anatomy from Kuwait University-Faculty of Medicine in 1994 then he completed examinations in the Diploma of Medical Ultrasound (General) in Australia and as a Registered Technologist in the USA. In 2006 Akram completed his PhD thesis at Monash University entitled “What makes the veins incompetent”? Which identified a previously unreported pattern of varicose veins as well as establishing the prevalence of several less recognized causes of venous disease.

Dr. Akram’s wealth of knowledge as well as his passion and enthusiasm for research and education are reflected in his highly regarded presentations. Since 2002 Akram providing comprehensive training in radiologic Imaging, Musculoskeletal and Vascular Ultrasound Imaging in a clinical environment. He is currently holding a clinical professor position at Department of Radiologic Sciences, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Kuwait University. Also, he is appointed as an adjunct clinical professor to Monash University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences from 1/6/2014 till present.

Dr. Akram presents regularly at national and international meetings and has published a number of papers. Since 1992 he has conducted numerous training courses in radiography as well as Ultrasound with attendees from local as well as international. Akram is actively a member of Australian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine, Australian Sonographers Association, Accredited Medical Sonographer, American Registered Radiologic Technologist, involved in the education and accreditation of the ultrasound profession as a clinical professor at Kuwait University, and an examiner for the Radiologic Technologists at Kuwait University-Kuwait.
